Gold is specifically for qualifying unsigned singers, musicians and songwriters.
Not every applicant will be approved.
There is no charge to apply. Approved applicants receive instructions to activate their Gold Membership for $300 per year.

Important Information for HTMA Winners
Winner registration is the official way to establish your private HTMA winner record, maintain current contact information and provide materials HTMA may use to promote your award recognition.
We Must Be Able to Contact You
HTMA needs a current email address, telephone number and, when applicable, authorized representative information.
Please do not assume HTMA already has current contact information simply because your name appears in the Official Awards Registry.
Winner Portal Access
Once verified, winners will be able to sign in using the email associated with their winner account.
Winner access is free and remains separate from paid HTMA membership.
Upload Materials for Your Promotion
Verified winners may provide photographs, biographies, official website links, social-media links, music links, press materials and other information they would like HTMA to consider using in promotional and editorial coverage.
There is no charge to winners for this access or for promotional coverage HTMA chooses to provide in connection with their recognition.
Your Private Information Is Not for Sale
HTMA uses winner contact information to administer awards, communicate with recipients and provide applicable winner services.
Honky Tonk Music Association does not sell winner contact information.
Private contact information is separate from photographs, biographies, links or other promotional material a winner voluntarily provides for public use.
Winner Deadlines Matter
If HTMA sends a communication containing a response deadline, winners and their representatives should respond by the stated deadline.
This is especially important for paid performance opportunities, ceremony attendance, ticket allocations, production participation and other time-sensitive opportunities.
If a winner does not respond by the stated deadline, HTMA may need to move forward with the next available eligible winner in the selection process.
Missing a deadline does not take away an award already won. It may simply mean that the particular time-sensitive opportunity can no longer be held open.
IMPORTANT — SHIPPING ADDRESS REQUIRED FOR MAILED AWARDS
If you expect HTMA to mail your certificate, trophy or other physical award materials, we must have a valid mailing or shipping address.
You may provide your own address or another secure shipping address where you want your award materials delivered.
If HTMA does not have a valid shipping address, we cannot mail physical award materials to you.
Shipping information is maintained as confidential winner information and is not sold to third parties.
HTMA TV + HTMA Live
Add HTMA TV and HTMA Live streaming access to your HTMA account.
Orange and Silver members may add the streaming subscription to the same account they already use for HTMA.
HTMA TV + HTMA Live are included with approved Gold Membership.
Your HTMA Access Follows Your Email
Use the email address you want associated with your HTMA account. Your registration, membership tier, paid add-ons and HTMA TV + HTMA Live access will be associated with that email address.

About HTMA Voting
HTMA member voting is selective and advisory, not absolute.
Silver members use fan voting to tell HTMA which artists, performances and programming they would like to see more of.
Gold members vote inside the approved Gold artist and songwriter member pool. Gold membership does not provide voting authority over the main HTMA Awards.
Honky Tonk Music Association retains final authority over nominations, awards, interviews, programming, employment and performance selections.
The HTMA Community
Honky Tonk Music Association is designed to encourage artists, musicians, songwriters and fans.
Constructive opinions are welcome. Bullying, personal attacks and deliberately demeaning another artist or member are not.
Supporting one artist should never require tearing down another.
Membership & Awards Are Separate
No HTMA membership purchases a nomination or award.
Receiving an HTMA award does not require purchasing membership, and purchasing membership does not guarantee nomination, winning, employment, performance, interview or professional success.
